Um, I once made a pillow? Yeah, that's about the most successful sewing project I've ever done. If it doesn't involve pliers at some point, it's just not for me. If it also involves a hammer, I'm in love. :3 I love making things, but I always end up with way more than I'll ever use/want, so I take 'em to renfaires. Much fun, and "I'm selling it at faire!" makes my mom stop asking me what I'm going to do with thirty necklaces and a roll of leather.
Add away. It's only my "personal" journal in that it's not about fandom. These days, I use it to post pictures, fiddle with memes when I'm bored and sometimes complain.
Mine was a Cosplay with red latex stuff which I had to sew by hand… Urgh, my fingertips hurt after that marathon. *lol* *rofl* a hammer is always good. Yay for violent crafting. :p
*lol* Having an excuse is always good. :p And a bit additional money can’t be bad, too.
A hammer, an itty bitty anvil, and several sets of three different type of pliers. And wire cutters. And now, leather punches and exacto knives! I has a little tool box just for arts. :3
<.< The day I make money at renfaire will be happy day indeed. It nearly offsets the expenses right now. But as I would have gone and incurred most of those expenses anyway, hey, that's fine with me. ^.^
